In the realm of megayachts, Maiora 29 has a position of absolute importance because the glorious FIPA group is a synonym of tradition and technology, elegance and attention to detail.
Seductive is her profile that appears to have been designed by the wind, thanks to the elegant shapes carved into a perfect mix of tradition and innovation. Typically in the yachting world, convertible refers to a boat intended for both fishing and cruising. This is not the case for the new Maiora 29, which the Italian yard’s parent company, the Fipa Group, presented to the American market for the first time at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show. The 95-foot (29-meter) vessel is a literal convertible—it features a flybridge that easily converts from a mostly open-air space to a more enclosed one. A look at the yacht’s profile reveals that the flybridge is partly protected on each side and fully protected forward. The aft end has a glass section that can slide into place to close it off from the elements or provide a bit more privacy, which is especially convenient when the boat is docked. The Maiora 29 Convertible’s flybridge is outfitted with settees and can also accommodate a dining table, so guests can enjoy the spectacular vistas from the bridge regardless of whether the convertible is open or closed. It also features a small infinity-edge pool, as well as diving boards that deploy from either side of the aft deck.
